Kristan's broadcasting career began during her studies at Louisiana College. Hired as a radio personality for a 500-watt radio station, she was thrust into the social, political, and religious arenas as host of her own one-hour radio talk show. Shortly thereafter, Kristan made her television debut. Hired as a reporter for KLAX, the ABC affiliate in Alexandria, LA, she quickly worked her way up to morning-show anchor. However, she returned to radio where she served as D.J., news reporter and finally News Director for KZMZ.
Transferring to Louisiana Tech University in 1996, Kristan aggressively continued her broadcasting career in addition to studying full-time. Undaunted by the requirements of being a full-time student, she also served full-time as the News Director for the largest radio station in North Louisiana, KXKZ radio in Ruston, LA.
After graduating, Kristan moved to Savannah, GA where she took employment as a General Assignment Reporter for the local NBC affiliate, WSAV. In 2002, she moved back to where she calls home, Houston, Texas, to help start up a new AOL/Time-Warner 24- hour news network, News 24 Houston. There she served many roles including reporter, field-anchor, and photojournalist.
Presented with the chance to anchor the weekend news show for another start-up news broadcast, Kristan left Houston in 2003 and moved to the Cincinnati Tristate where she anchored and reported for Cincinnati's WB64 News at 10. Finally she seized upon her long-awaited opportunity to start her own company, and Life's Eyes Media was born.
Most recently Life's Eyes Media produced an award winning, "in their own words" documentary for Franciscan Haircuts from the Heart. Kristan was recognized for her outstanding efforts by the Public Relations Society of America. Additionally, she has won 18 Associated Press awards including two First Places in "Best Newscast", two First Places in "Spot News Coverage", a First Place in "Best Sound" and a First Place in "Feature Reporting." Kristan uses her years of experience to personally evaluate each LEM client's needs and then draws upon her abundant resources within the television and news industry to produce the client's message. It is then distributed and presented to the targeted audiences in the form of broadcast-quality video productions. As founder, CEO, and President of Life's Eyes Media, she dedicates herself to, and guarantees each client's satisfaction. She says, "Our focus is businesses and individuals who want to get their message to the masses and target audiences, with professional integrity."
