Nikk Sutton

Nikk Sutton lives life at 29.997 and on occasion, 24p but loves 1080i but rarely at 24fps. LOL

Seriously though, Nikk is a DP (Director of Photography) and for the last 10 years, a Steadicam Operator.  As a Steadicam Operator he goes where no camera has gone before!! Instead of using a dolly that can only go forward and aft, he has a full 360 degrees radius of going in and out of rooms buildings and on occasion being the POV (Point of View) of the character. The best use of the Steadicam was used in the show "ER" where at times you would have what is called a "ONER" which is an on-going shot with no cuts, just one fluid motion, going from one character to the next.

Nikk has his own company, Flyin' Da Rig Steadicam and Camera Services.  To our knowledge, he's the only operator in the Southern Ohio Region. He's also apart of two organizations, The SOA (Steadicam Operator's Association) and The SOC (Society of Operating Cameramen) which, you have to be invited to join celebrating the excellence in camera operation and trade.
